“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children”
- Isaiah 54:13

Mission Statement

Holy Trinity PDO exists to serve the needs of the whole community by glorifying God through service and loving interactions with children and their families.

Philosophy

We believe children are God’s gift and deserving of honor, care and respect. At Holy Trinity PDO we allow children to do what they do best–learn through play! We also teach them about Christ in developmentally appropriate ways rooted in the Bible, using planned lessons as well as organically through modeling and conversations.

Our School Year

Holy Trinity PDO runs year-round with week-long breaks for New Year’s Eve, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We have one, two, three, and four day options available Mondays-Friday. We offer normal hours (9am-2pm), and extended hours (8am-3pm) as well.

Curriculum

The curriculum at Holy Trinity PDO is play-based and child led with some developmentally appropriate Bible-based instruction. This means that teachers plan open-ended activities that children are invited to participate in and take in any direction they choose. Activities offered will cover science, math, art, literacy, and social-emotional learning. The Pastor and teachers will provide religious education as well in ways that delight and engage children.

Schedule and Activities

Each classroom follows its own schedule, but every class has a morning snack provided, gross motor time outdoors if weather permits, lunch, and rest time. A newsletter and curriculum calendar will be sent out monthly.

REGISTRATION

The registration form is available for download below. Please print, complete, and return it to the church office. You can bring it by in person (we’re at 1101 W. Hudson Rd in Rogers) or scan and email to pdo@holytrin.org.

Meet OUR Staff

Leah O’Ryan

Director

Leah began working in early education and care in 2012 after getting her MFA in Visual Art if you can believe it! She started as a floating teacher covering breaks and vacations, became a classroom teacher for Toddlers and Preschoolers, and earned a director certification in Massachusetts. Leah moved to Arkansas with her family in 2020. They were delighted to find Holy Trinity Lutheran Church right away! They couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and Christ-centered church home. Leah loves working with children because she gets to rediscover the ordinary through curious and creative eyes. For this reason, one of her favorite things in the world is children’s art!

Analuisa Garcia

Teacher - Caterpillars

Analuisa loves doing art activities with the kiddos! Frida Kaholo is my favorite artist😊! Analuisa enjoys reading on her own time, and she is a plant mom!

Rosemary Gorman

Teacher - Butterflies

As a mother of two adult children, Rosemary is blessed with 3 beautiful granddaughters (age 5, 2 and 4 months). She moved to Arkansas in 2021 to be closer to family and became a full-time “granny-nanny” for her oldest granddaughter until she started attending PDO in 2023. Rosemary began as a substitute in the fall of 2023 and joined our staff as a teacher for the 2024 summer camp program, and is now a classroom teacher in the Butterfly room! She enjoys music, reading, crafting and spending time with family. Rosemary hopes to inspire, encourage and teach the children every day just as they inspire, encourage and teach her!

Rachel Gulbranson

Teacher - Caterpillars

Rachel is a teacher in the Caterpillar Room. She has been involved in some form of childcare most of her life. As the oldest of 7 she got a lot of practice early on. She currently lives with her husband, her two daughters, her dog Charley, and all her chickens. Ms. Rachel has been working on her Early Childhood Education degree for the last few years and loves working with children so much. It is a true honor to be able to help teach and guide the students in her class in life and in their walk with Christ. She can’t wait to spend more time learning and growing with them!
