Head down to the Life Center after second service on Oct. 14 for some smoked pork, a grilled chicken sandwich, or any of our usual’s like burgers and chicken nuggets. All proceeds go to the youth who prepare and serve your food! Thank you for your support.
CAMPUS CONNECTion: We are looking for someone to take the lead role in this outreach. The leader organizes church members to bake homemade goodies for our college students twice a year (Fall and Spring) & pray for those students. They also pack & mail out the care packages to the college students. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Casey Bolte.
HEY MEN—on October 21st we will begin the Men’s Bible classes again. Our study will focus on the book of Romans. Martin Luther said this about the book of Romans—“This epistle is the real chief part of the New Testament, and the very purest Gospel, which deserves that a Christian not only know it word for word, but also deal with it daily as with the daily bread for the soul...” Well, we won’t learn it word for word, but we will study it intently to see what God is telling us about Grace, love, Jesus, forgiveness, and a host of other important topics. This first class will start at 9:30-ish and will continue for probably 12-15 weeks, which will take us thru the entire winter months. Come and get your donuts, and a cup of coffee! FORGET ABOUT HUNTING DEER—TAKE TIME TO HUNT THRU THE SCRIPTURE FOR REAL MEAT!! PLEASE JOIN US ON OCTOBER 21st—all you need to bring is your Bible. God bless you guys in this study!! Dave Lehenbauer
LIFE QUOTES “It is our faith that compels us to venerate life from its moment of conception. It is by faith that we treat life not as an entitlement or possession but as a steward for the Creator who gives life. Only by faith do we accept that life at its earliest possible moment has culpability for sin before the Divine Judge and benefits from the sacrifice of our Savior.” Rev. Robert Fleischmann, national director of Christian Life Resources.
