Speaker Emeritus of The Lutheran Hour: Rev. Dr. Ken Klaus:  Paul had his problems. You've never met anyone who didn't. And yet, Paul called his problems "light" and "momentary". Today's message deals with the question, 'What does Paul know that we don't?'  (2 Corinthians 4:17-5:1).

HELP NEEDED  To date, no one has volunteered to help with the weekly offering count.  Please pray about this as the need is great.  Contact Dean Eisma at 479-621-8451 or call the church office at 479-636-1135.

LIFE QUOTES   “You can stand for life today, even if you have had an abortion. When you bring any sin into the light, Jesus disarms the enemy. The devil can no longer hold that sin over you. Christ is your righteousness, and you stand in Him. God’s Word declares it to be so.” Rev. Lyndon Korhonen, president of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations – A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life • If you wish to support Lutherans for Life, you can through their web site www.lutheransforlife.org

LIFE THOUGHTS IN CHURCH  Bearing unintended (at least from Eve’s perspective) offspring was key to God’s magnum opus (Genesis 3:15). A crippled body became heaven’s vehicle for humankind’s salvation. Advocating abortion access, supporting fetal-tissue research, and tolerance of hastening deaths reveal how narrow our imagination can be. Thanks be to God that His creativity exceeds our near-sightedness! Almighty Maker, open our eyes to Your vision for life until it opens our mouths as well. Amen. (Pentecost II)
