UNITY SUNDAY NEXT WEEK   Next Sunday is the last of our Unity Sundays for this year.  Sunday School and Bible classes begin at 8:45am.  We will have one communion service at 10:00 AM.  Following the service, there will be a HTY Café and Voter’s meeting in the Life Center.  Business is limited to the 2017 Budget and ratification of leaders.

MISSION U THIS SATURDAY  Deb Erdmann will be here from Milwaukee to lead our final Mission U workshop.  This workshop was postponed in July because a problem with her connecting flights.  The theme is:  Equipping to Share — Tough Questions.  It is about how to respond to people who ask questions about the existence of God, why the Bible is true, etc.  I have been told by several people that this is a great workshop.  The congregation is covering the costs, including lunch.  Please sign up on the bulletin board in the narthex if you plan to attend.

FEED MY SHEEP   Thank you for the generous donations of food and money this past Sunday. We are expecting a great number of visitors to the pantry in the month of November with the Thanksgiving Holiday so your generous donation of food or money will be greatly appreciated!

The items are in and shoeboxes fill Cameron’s office. Now is the fun part, we turn it all into Christmas presents! Join us on November 16, 17, and 18 from 5:30-6:30pm as we wrap, fill, and carefully runner band all the shoeboxes for children around the world. We will have food and drinks for those who come throuhg the week. Then on Saturday, November 19th @ 1:00pm we will have the final packing party to finish it up! WE are going to need a lot of help getting all the shoeboxes ready and it is al;ways a lot of fun. Make sure to bring some pictures of your family to share with the children who receive the presents, if you so wish. And there is one last way you can help and it is important. Each box costs $7 to send overseas, which is a real deal when it comes to shipping. If you would please consider making an extra offering this month to help get these presents where they need need to go it will be appreciated. Make sure to mark it Operation Christmas Child. Talk to Cameron or visit www.holytrin.org/occ if you have any questions.

Do You Like to Have the Service on the Screen?  Then we need your help.  We need at least one other person to help put the service together with Powerpoint and Easy Worship (can be done at home).  ALSO, we need more people to operate the computer duing church so the same people aren’t doing it every Sunday.   If you can help please contact Pastor Besel about the details.

Please bring in items typically used to prepare a Holiday dinner. Place items on the giving Center counter so we can keep those items separate from the Pantry donations. If you would like to RECEIVE A BASKET please contact the Church office by Friday, November 18th. We need to know if you would like a basket for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

LIFE QUOTES  “People do not like to face the fact that their soul will live on in eternity. We need time to be alone with God, to hear his Word, to read it everyday, and to pray to Him. This is where we get food for our soul. We need to sit as a fmaily and let God feed us with His Word, have our devotion, and pray together.”Rev. Homer Larsen, Christian Crusader radio program-*A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life* www.lutheransforlife.org
