OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
The items are in and shoeboxes fill Cameron’s office. Now is the fun part, we turn it all into Christmas presents! Join us on November 16, 17, and 18th from 5:30-6:30pm as we wrap, fill, and carefully runner band all the shoeboxes for children around the world. We will have food and drinks for those who come through the week. Then on Saturday, November 19th @ 1:00pm we will have the final packing party to finish it up! We are going to need a lot of help getting all the shoeboxes ready and it is always a lot of fun. Make sure to bring some pictures of your family to share with the children who receive the presents, if you so wish. And there is one last way you can help and it is important. Each box costs $7 to send overseas, which is a real deal when it comes to shipping. If you would please consider making an extra offering this month to help get these presents where they need need to go it will be appreciated. Make sure to mark it Operation Christmas Child. Talk to Cameron or visit www.holytrin.org/occ if you have any questions.
MILITARY BIBLESTICKS Once again we are giving the members of our congregation the opportunity to provide Military Biblesticks to chaplains to provide audio Bibles to members of our military and their families. Please see the insert in the bulletin for details. Over the last 4 years, members of Holy Trinity have provided 165 of these Biblesticks for our military. Each one costs $25. That means we have donated $4,125 for
Biblesticks. We ask that any gifts be made by next Sunday, November 13th.

LIFE QUOTES “Is someone resistant to the life-affirming message as you have presented? Perhaps it’s the attitude they sense when they have been approached. I have found that when my attitude is more reflective of Christ, my message is much better received, and I can do my job of lifting those who are weak. So I pray, “Lord make me a servant who is humble and meek that I might lift up those who are weak. Amen.”. “Lynette Auch, President of Lutherans For Life- *A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life* www.lutheransforlife.org
